I won't lie: There's a particular thrill to seeing your book translated into other languages, and so far I've been lucky enough to see SHOVEL READY in a few different ones. Most recently, the novel came out in French from the publisher Denoel. I especially like this striking painted cover, which is very different from the (in my opinion excellent) English language covers, so I thought I'd share it here.
The title, LE FOSSOYEUR, translates as "The Gravedigger," which also seems appropriate. A reviewer recently wrote, "Adam Sternbergh, nous offre un véritable page turner. Au ton croustillant à l'humour noir, décapant. Ce roman est une pure merveille," which is kind in any language.
